It seemed like the case of two idiots (they were both fine); one ran a red light (really late) and the other decided to jump out and turn when it was red for him. One was a beaten up pizza delivery Corolla (7th gen) and the other car was a Volvo S40. No one was harmed, but the pizza guy drove away from the intersection with his right rear wheel dragging along (suspension was shot as well as a broken axle—it was definitely totaled). The Volvo hit the Corolla headfirst, and it was not as badly damaged. The collision sound was a huge bang, and I thought it was a bursting tire at first. Coincidentally, two police cars were hanging around and the officers witnessed the accident. Neither person chewed the other out, which reaffirms the notion they both were driving badly. Anyways, that made things pretty interesting.
